I’ve been particularly busy these last few months revising my book “Kissed by the Taliban.”
The first draft was, in my humble estimation, something of a dumpster fire.
Despite my initial assessment that my work was pure genius worthy of immediate inclusion in the canon of the all-time literary masterpieces, I discovered upon closer inspection that it was deeply flawed in some areas and a rambling, hot mess in others.
So I took my editor’s scythe to the first draft and began slashing at the prose, reassembling it into something slightly more coherent.
The work is still ongoing, though in its final stages.
